an unavailing bout of fishing

My take on the "fishing spot" theme has a bit of a story to go with it (I wrote this as sort of incidental music)

The general idea is that the fisherman has a very low level of patience, and after an exposition setting the scene, feels a bite but loses the fish. He grows increasingly impatient and aggravated until he finally decides to pack up and go home. The return of the bass part at the end is him glancing back at the lake one more time.

I went for more of a classical style than I usually do, using just strings (with a large emphasis on pizzicato) and some basic chord progressions

I used musescore with basic musescore soundfonts.
